Practical information

reservations

Because we only have four rooms, we noticed that one night stays often block a longer stay. Therefore we ask a minimum reservation of two nights from May 1st until September 30th, except for last-minute reservations (less than two weeks in advance).

availability of the room

Rooms are available from 4 pm on the day of arrival and we ask that you vacate the room by 11 am on the day of departure.

terms of payment

When making a reservation, we ask a deposit of 25% of the total cost of your stay. In case of a cancellation, the deposit is not refundable. We cannot take electronic payments, so we ask you to use cash or to make a bank transfer ( BE36 9730 9357 0981).

cancellations

If you have to cancel your stay, that is of course a disappointment for you, but also for us as it is unlikely that we will be able to let the room if it is close to your arrival date. So in some cases we need to ask for a cancellation fee.

  • A cancellation until four weeks before arrival: the amount of the deposit (25%) is due. If you want to delay your stay, you can do so up to four weeks in advance without losing your deposit.
  • A cancellation between four weeks and two weeks before arrival: 50% of the total cost is due
  • A cancellation less than two weeks before arrival: 75% of the total cost is due
  • For a no-show, or for cancellation during your stay, 100% of the total cost is due

a stay with kids

Children are welcome at Molmento but please notice that our B&B does not focus specifically on children. There is no playground or swimming pool. We have no discounts for children.

pets and smoking

Pets are not allowed at Molmento bed and breakfast. The house is non-smoking.

 privacy policy

Your privacy is important to us and thus our privacy police follows the European privacy regulation that came into effect from May 25th 2018.

To make sure we can prepare your stay with us in the best possible way and it will be a pleasant one, we ask you for some personal data upon reservation or contact. Personal data are data that provide us with information about you as a natural person, such as your name, address, email address and telephone number. We keep a record of these data in our reservation calendar, so that we can identify and contact you if necessary (e.g. in an emergency, if a room is double-booked, in case of non-payment of an invoice, …). When you provide us with your personal data, they will be stored in a secure environment that is inaccessible to third parties. We won’t use this information for other purposes or to send you other information, like a newsletter. We will not pass on this information to third parties, unless required to do so by law, at the explicit request of the judicial authorities or police forces or if the data can be shared anonymised (e.g. for questionnaires or statistics).We will store your data as long as necessary for the processing and administration of our reservations and bookkeeping.

You have the right to ask us at any time which personal data we are processing. This information will be provided for free, except in case of unfounded or unreasonable requests (e.g. when asking repeatedly for the same information). In that case we can refuse to deal with the request or charge a reasonable compensation. You can always ask us to complete, correct or delete the data you have given us, stating which changes you wish to be made. These changes will be processed within four weeks. We shall make every reasonable effort within or power to meet your requirements if this is consistent with the applicable laws and regulations. You have the right to make a complaint to the regulatory authority (commission@privacycomission.be) if you think that we don’t comply with the applicable Belgian and European privacy regulation.
